I've been writing since I could put pen to paper. In my pursuit of finding something I loved more than writing, I obtained a BS in Molecular/Microbiology. I then went back to school for a pre-law degree. Somewhere along the way, I realized my love belonged to writing and learning. I continue to use my diverse interests and education to enrich my writing style.
Growing up, I was exposed to a variety of activities ranging from competitive cheerleading and softball to being a youth Sunday school teacher. I've also volunteered with Girl Scouts, International Medical Outreach, Association of Microbiology, homeless outreach programs and the Jamaican American Association. My experiences with such organizations have given me unique perspectives that I cultivate in my writing.
This year, I've focused my attention on getting my work out via novels, freelance work and my poetry blog. I don't mark any work as complete until it is exceptional.
